Here, you’ll learn that language from the ground up — to hear it, read it, write it, and finally to speak it through the piano.

Choose Your Path.
The Language Stays the Same.

Graded Path

The same language, with a certificate to prove it.

Rockschool ABRSM Trinity College London
Grades 1–8, across all three boards
Practical, theory and aural — taught together
Prepared on the board’s own syllabus
A credential recognized beyond piano

Each grade takes what it takes.

Grades 1–3 run 6–12 months each. Grades 6–8, twice that — the material genuinely deepens.

We won’t rush a grade to hit a date. The certificate is only worth what’s behind it.

Personalized Path

Your pace, your interests, no exam clock running.

Curated for you Flexible syllabus
Read music instead of memorising it
Play what you love, not just what’s assigned
Ear, rhythm and harmony from the ground up
A curriculum that bends around you

There is an end to this.

Reading pieces and playing with both hands in 6–10 months. Playing comfortably, at a good level, in 18–24.

The point is to stop needing lessons — not to keep booking them.

How Each Session Works

One Lesson. One Check-in. Every Week.

50 min session + 10 min check‑in = 60 minutes a week — for example, a Sunday session and a Wednesday check‑in.

Why Us

One key per door. Or one key for all of them.

Learn song by song, and some doors never open.

Most piano lessons teach you one song at a time — one key for one door, picked by someone else. Anything you were not taught stays locked. Learning to read music gives you the master key instead: every door opens, not just the ones you were shown.

Goutham Krishna, founder and teacher

The Teacher

Hello — I’m Goutham.

I’m a Grade 8 pianist, and for the past 8 years I’ve taught piano to 250+ students across 6+ countries. Again and again I saw the same pattern: students who could play three pieces beautifully, but were lost the moment a new sheet appeared. They had been taught songs — nobody had taught them music.

So this school works the other way around. We start with the language itself — how notes, rhythm and harmony work — and the pieces follow naturally, whether you are working toward a certificate or simply want to sit down and play. You will not leave here with a list of memorised songs. You will leave able to teach yourself the next one.

FAQ

Questions Worth Answering

Any piano or digital instrument with at least 61 keys is enough to begin. As you progress we will talk about what instrument actually suits where you are heading.

That is exactly what we are here to fix. Reading starts in the very first lessons — the same way you would learn the alphabet of any new language.

Children and adults both. The approach does not change — only the pace and the material do.

One 50-minute lesson a week at a fixed slot that suits you, plus a short midweek check-in. We’ll set the rhythm together on the trial call and adjust it as your schedule changes.

There’s no single price, because there’s no single student. Fees depend on the path, the grade level, and how much contact time a student actually needs — a Grade 1 beginner and a Grade 7 exam candidate are doing very different amounts of work. We’ll give you a clear, specific number in the last 15 minutes of the free trial, once we know what you actually need.

Yes. We teach across every time zone and schedule around your local evenings and weekends, so lessons land after school or after work rather than at odd hours.
